Here at Anna Pugsley Nutrition & Wellness, LLC I want to take the confusion of "eating a healthy diet" and arm you with facts and tools that will help you achieve your personal goals. I do not believe in a one size fits all diet approach and I reject the idea that you have to avoid certain foods to be at your best.

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DOES ANNA PUGSLEY NUTRITION & WELLNESS, LLC TAKE?

I accept self pay methods of either cash, debit or credit card. I use stripe to process credit and debit card payment. If you would like to pay cash please bring exact bills with you. Payment is expected at time of service.

WILL MY HEALTH INSURANCE COVER DIETITIAN-NUTRITIONIST SERVICES?

I am also a provide with Insurance. I recommend that you contact your insurance company in advance to see if they cover Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) 97802. You must have a diagnosis or medical reason for nutrition counseling. I am in network with Aetna, MVP and CDPHP. I require a referral from your doctor. You can download a form here

I am not a provider with Medicaid. If you have Medicaid I recommend calling them directly.

WHAT IS A DIETITIAN-NUTRITIONIST?

A Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist or RD is a person with advanced degrees (at least a Masters) as well as someone who has completed an accredited program in nutrition and dietetics as well as minimum set hours of an accredited dietetic internship. I completed my Bachelors in Nutrition from Lehman College and my masters from Iowa State University, I completed my internship in 2012 under the supervision of Health Quest Medical Centers in conjunction with Iowa State.
